SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COUNCIL
Today a Scientific and Technical Council regular meeting was held in the assembly hall of our Institute, where the results of research works of “DerzhdorNDI” SE, the National Transport University (NTU) and "KROK" Scientific Research and Production Enterprise ("KROK" SRPE) had been considered.
Thus, “DerzhdorNDI” SE scientists presented proposals for design and arrangement of bio-crossings in the natural environment of Ukraine, that are using by organizations regardless of ownership, which carry out the design, construction and maintenance of public roads by bio-crossings construction for animal migration across the roads and for road traffic safety.
The great interest of the meeting participants aroused the report of our Institute scientific researches regarding additional sources of financing of road facilities in the conditions of increasing the quantity of cars with electric and hybrid power plants.
Representatives of NTU presented a methodology for calculating of asphalt pavement durability to the rut formation on roads that used to forecast the calculation of asphalt pavement stability to the ruts formation on roads from the vertical loadings of vehicles pneumatic wheels at summer high temperatures.
“KROK” SRPE presented an Album of typical solutions for reinforcing of the base and surface of non-rigid pavements by composite lattices designed with the experience of composite lattices use in road construction during 2013 - 2018. The Album includes requirements for output materials, characteristics of the technology features for reinforcing layers of non-rigid pavements, specific technical solutions for use of lattices.
During the discussion of each research work results, “DerzhdorNDI” SE Scientific and Technical Council generally approved the results of researches and recommended them for handing over to the Customer with further working out in the regular course of work
