INNOVATIONS IN ROAD CONSRTRUCTION
We continue to inform road industry specialists about new materials and technologies in road construction. Today we are addressing the reinforcing synthetic materials for asphalt concrete.
Such materials are used to increase stability, to prevent cracks and ruts formation on the roads with asphalt pavements, and are often used on the road facilities in other countries, including Europe.
Advantages of the material are the following:
- simple laying due to special self-adhesive system;
- higher temperature stability of the material;
- stronger adhesion with asphalt concrete layers.
