Static and dynamic tests of bridges
The Department of the Bridge Management carries out dynamic and static tests of bridges in order to clarify the carrying capacity of the bridges by obtaining direct values of deformations and characteristics of the crack resistance of their structures under the impact of test static load on them. Based on the data obtained during static tests, it is possible to conduct adjusted calculations of their structures.
The main purpose of the test is to obtain field data to clarify the design model of the facility. The final goal of dynamic tests is to establish relationship between the dynamic parameters of the structure and its final bearing capacity.
It is recommended during planning of surveys, certification to forecast dynamic tests of bridges with a length of bridge span of 35 m or more.
If you have any questions on the test of the bridges, please contact the Head of Department, Larysa Bodnar, tel. +38 044 206 98 82, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org .
